Christmas has not, as yet, returned but, I would like to use this auspicious, up coming, holiday, to salute the men and women who gave their lives for their Country and for us. Memorial day should be remembered every day and appreciated on a similar par as Christmas. At least that is my belief.

The muffled drum's sad roll has beat The soldier's last tattoo; No more on Life's parade shall meet That brave and fallen few. On fame's eternal camping ground Their silent tents to spread, And glory guards, with solemn round The bivouac of the dead.

Merry Christmas from the Stranger also! And for anyone who fancies themselves as a southern sophisticant, I finally dipped into the butter cream and I have drawn my very first confederate general... behold, General Thomas Lafayette Rosser (not to be confused with Luther Hare, as I had once regularly mistook him). Merry Christmas to all! Attachments:

I must apologize to everyone. I meant to post another post here similar to last years post prior to Christmas. I haven't been around much to do anything this whole month. We were away for Christmas in the Mountains. We left on the 23rd and didn't get back until the 28th. The cabins where we stayed didn't have phone service or Internet service there. I wasn't much interested in getting online anyway. After our return home we had plans to spend New Years Eve with friends and family in Iowa and I didn't have much time to do anything else but check to make sure the pipes didn't freeze repack a few clean clothes, take a quick look at the board and leave again. I'm glad to see that nothing serious came of the problems you guys were having at that time. Those darn ads again We just returned home after a 6 hour drive. I hope that each of you had a joyous and Merry Christmas. From myself and the staff here at TCF here is wishing each of you a prosperous and Happy New Year.
