It is not possible to know in what manner certain soldiers specifically encountered final hour. However, there is some evidence that Tom went out in style.
Despite numerous and horrific wounds, Tom was clearly identified by whites and Indians by his prominent tattoos.
White Shield:
"A man supposed to be Custer (George) had a long mustache, but no other hair on his face. He had marks pricked into his skin on the arms above the wrist.
Lying near him was a six-shooter and a saber."
Yellow Nose describes an encounter with a soldier whom he struck in the head with a saber as the soldier attempted to shoot him. He also described this soldier as being very brave.

I don't know it could be possible. Some of the worse wounds looked like they came from the squaws and children. Then again, Dorman was singled out because he knew some of them personally and look how bad he got it.
it's probably impossible to figure who got what from who just based on the wounds they received. But, we can always speculate. ;D
