Custer had much "in the ball" and this is proved not only by Libbie love, but by the love of all those americans which survived him, after knewing him. He, at least, was an uncommon human being. Unfortunately, fame and success brings along greed and envy of others less famous and succesfull, that feel better and compensate their failures spiting on history their lies.

"Envy" is the slow, continuous, and all-consuming destroyer of those who succeed by those who are afraid to even try.
