Well, I guess I should be the first.
For as long as I can remember I've been interested in Custer's Last Stand. Though I feel I know everything, I really don't, and am humbled to report that others much more qualified than myself amaze me at times with what they do know. And this is one of the many reasons that I began The Custer Files.
I feel, its not what I know about the battle that's important, so much as what I don't know. It's not about me, its about the battle and what occurred in 1876. So many times I've ran across people who have such a glorified opinion of themselves, and of their opinions on this battle to such an extent that they think that they cannot be wrong; so much so that they argue a single point into the ground, not realizing that no one really cares. And that in the end, it just served as a total bore and a distraction to others efforts.
I took an unconventional approach to this discussion board. And in the hope of expanding several key Files, it is my fondest hope and desire that many will join and add to the information there.
The Rules are set up to 'Protect' all who come here. They are not meant to intimidate anyone other than those who would dare to break them. Most of them come straight from the Proboards TOS, and a few have been added to make sure that no one intimidates or hurts someone elses feelings while they are here.
It is my fondest hope and desire that one and all interested come and join, Thank You

Ps, what a fluke, I didn't realize the title of this thread defaulted to "administrator" when I failed to place something within the "Title" field. Will correct this as time permits.
