Fifteen years ago I had an opportunity to travel through Colorado where I saw the most beautiful and awe inspiring sight of my life. Traveling on a winding road that weaved itself through the majestic mountains native to that region, I was struck by the sight of vast acreage of towering, green trees stretching toward the sky like a thousand replicas of Jacobs' ladder. Carole and I stopped the car and got onto the roadway and simply stared at the green behemoths of wonder like two little children, mesmerized by such wonderful splendor. In a way I have never been able to explain and, apparently never will ,I believed I was looking upon the face of God! I have never felt so humble as I did at that moment in my life. Have you ever had a similar experience wherein the wonders of nature seem to be a portal into the realm of glory? If you had please share them with the other members as I have. Good thoughts make for good feelings.

When I was about ten years old I was spending the night with my cousin at his house in Rocky Mount, N.C. We were both asleep when all of a sudden I woke up and saw a bright, blue light moving along the ceiling. it reached the wall opposite from where we was sleeping and just stayed there for awhile. the funny thing was I wasn't scared because the light was so pretty. It was like nothing I had ever seen before!
I could hear a soft voice coming from it but I couldn't make out what the voice was saying. After awhile the light went to the bedroom door, slid down and disappeared under the door.
I didn't understand then what happened and I still don't understand what happened. All I know that I will remember it for a long time. I have never been happier then when I saw that light.

Geesh... And we're expected to follow that one? Did I ever tell ya about the one where I pee'd down the Presidents leg? Not even close is it?

WB, if I saw the something that you described or, for that matter, anything close to it I believe I would have fainted dead away!

I saw a big cloud in the sky that looked like this... damned if it ain't Custer's boot! I wonder what he might have meant by that?

All kidding aside folks what happened to me was serious and I will never forget it. I felt something I never felt before or since. When Wiggs talked about how he felt it just reminded me of my experience.

There are so many experiences in life that are hard to explain. The fact that the "blue light" made you feel good tells me that it was a good thing and, if seeing it made you happy than you are very fortunate to have experience it!

It's real hard to explain how I felt inside because I went real fast from scared to death to feeling calm and not afraid. The voice I heard may be feel warm inside. I wish that I could have another experience like that one again.
Its real easy to look at somethings that are odd as all get out and ignore it as a part of your imagination. I just wonder why people think that God does not have the power to send a message by anyway he wants to?
