No! In Terry's confidential report to General Sherman Terry wrote that he and gibbon agreed that Custer's average rate of march would be approximately 30 miles per day.
Terry also posted the length of the march as reported to him by the nefarious Benteen;a distance much greater than actually transversed.
I'm amazed by two factors:
1. Why did Terry not check with the official itinerant (Wallace) for the actual and true distance;
2. Why did Benteen created false information about the march?
