Hello everyone, I am happy to find this site. Let me introduce myself, My name is Greg and I have been a living historian and a re-enactor for 20 years. I can give a different perspective on the battle. I have ridden the custer battlefield on a few occasions....yes the actual battlefield! I was lucky enough to have been present for the indian memorial dedication and they let us ride the area.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Having you here is a pleasure. Dennis and I are in the process of getting together a trip to the battlefield scheduled for 2014. This will give us more than enough time to to make this visit a momentous one. It would be great if several members could meet there and get to know each other while experiencing the pleasure of discovering the secrets of the battlefield and all it has to offer.
We are presently negotiating a plan with the Real birds through an advertised agency. We would appreciate all the input that you could offer us along those lines. It sounds like you knowledge in a "package deal" of this sort is indispensable. Any suggestions that you may offer would be accepted graciously and with sincere thanks. Again, welcome friend!

Hello All! Avid western history buff here! Life long resident of western South Dakota. Looking for information on equipment used by Custer and his men....in particular, optics....like field glasses, spyglasses (brass telescopes), etc. Anyone have any suggestions for my me?
